  • wow,
poor xanga.  You have been cruelly neglected for a long time.  It's about time I pay you a visit.

How do you not think life is just a bunch of routine's that play over and over.  I feel that this summer has been that.  What is even more sad is that it has been painful to keep doing.  I hate that I don't just randomly change plans and do something fun and crazy.  I need some more spontaneous decisions in my life.  but again, I am too comfortable to make crazy decisions.  Thanks goodness this is the last summer where I have to work, and work, and work, and then see the money go to college tuition.  Teaching will be a great change but a needed one.  Plus I can actually save money for a house, or car for Amanda and I.  by the way, my wife Amanda is amazing.  Well xanga, it's been a good visit.  Next time we'll have to hang out a little longer.

    Peace,
    Chad Knihal

  • I'm gonna be married!!!

This post is mainly just an overexcitement of myself over my future home.  It is not for sure but I really, really, really want it and so does Amanda.  We both have looked at many places and just feel like this is the right one.  Not to confuse anyone at all but we will be moving in together after our wedding on may 12th but we want to find and rent a house starting on may 1st.  So one of us will have the privelage of staying there for a few days while the other is in limbo somewhere.  Thankfully we think we have it figured out.  anway, this place is great and I really hope we get it.

  • Restricting the Homeless!!! (What a lovely country!)

    http://apnews.myway.com/article/20070203/D8N2G7680.html

    Read this article first.

Wow.  I am just really confused at this whole idea.  It is pretty sad to me that our country is getting to the level where we restrict the homeless to keep our downtown's beautiful and parks more enjoyable.  These laws are just silly.  Some ignorant people think it will help curb homelessness.  Well sorry but why don't we just put them into jails then.  That seems like the line of thinking these lawmakers are coming from.

Instead why don't we take some sort of social responsibility to the disenfranchised and illegitamite(what the world views the homeless as) in society.  Of course the better term for them would be the oppressed.  Why don't we who have the means to help do it.  I am guily too.  I guess reading this article is just a wake up call for myself and many others that our society feels no social responsibility to the oppressed.

It is a sad world when the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer and people just overall stopped caring about humanity.

In conclusion, this reflection is not meant to discount the efforts that are being done worldwide for the poor and oppressed but to reflect that I feel the many people who have the means to help are not.  Including myself.  Anyway, I guess that this world is just higly disappointing but that one day (thank God) we will have a time where no suffering happens.

  • Privacy? I don't think there is any form of this on the internet anymore. The funny thing is that people don't try to be private anymore either. I mean I think it is pretty stupid to post incriminating photos or just morally questionable photos when we probably all will be in the workplace someday where a website or xanga site is easily viewable. Like people's facebook photos. It is nuts how many bribery pictures or just simple questionable photos someone could use in the future to call your character into question. Guess I should just be a private individual. I guess I am okay with that.

    Later dudes,
    Chad
